Two Dimensional Audio Mixer

This was the second of three major projects in my Art as Information class. The assignment was to blur the line between author and audience within the art piece utilizing user interaction. I, the artist, created a blank canvas for interaction, wherein you, the audience shifts roles as you become the creator of the composition, and thus the artist of the work as well. This also means the composition changes to reflect the context in which it is being manipulated.

I decided to follow in the footsteps of one of my heroes, James Patten, and create a two-dimensional mixer inspired by the Audiopad. I used five seperate channels with audio loops of different instruments from an original composition I created in Fruity Loops.
